Rob, I sure am enjoying your web page. Sooo many memories are dredged up when looking at the pictures. Your dad and uncle Jim were a big part of my early days of lakes, drags and Bonneville, including Howard Eichenhofer, Bob summers, all my Heroes! Thanks for being my family's friend...good luck in your quest for speed.

I am also one of Howard's kids, it means so much to see the respect and admiration that others held for dad. Thank you for making his memory so much sweeter.

It was nice visiting with you, Deb and charity today. It is nice to have a house so near an In and Out burger. I all we had were Mickey D's you would probably never show.

I am Howard's Daughter from Montrose California. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for honoring Dad by letting people know about his service on the health & welfare site. Racing was a big part of his life. Wonderful memories for him and for us.

Hello Rob and Bob, It is good to read a few names that I still remember. The name Jim Davis brings back some memories about flat head V-8 Caddy engines and the Saugus Drag Strip. 3.5 inch bore and 4.5 inch stroke if my memory hasn't failed completely. A trip to Sears Point from the Mendocino Coast (where I live) was impressive. Nostalgia drags and the Nationals were both incredible. Hope all is well with you both and with Jimmy too. Cheers, Bob
